PinkNotes® At Home

Postby AlphaMedia » Mon Sep 15, 2008 12:24 pm

We all know that PinkNotes® is great around the workplace, but PinkNotes® is also a great tool for the family on-the-go! Having a PinkNotes® system for your family allows you to stay in touch with your loved ones, no matter where you are.

While at work or on the road, you can send one child a "Send Later" PinkNote® at 3:45PM to remind them to clean up their room after school.. Send a text message to your other child telling them to be home by 10:30PM (and send a carbon copy PinkNote® your spouse's office to keep them in the loop). Then, use the "Send Later" feature to remind yourself at home to call your child if they're not home yet at 10:30PM.

Using PinkNotes® Messaging, PinkNotes® E-Mail, and PinkNotes® Text Messaging, you will never be out of touch with your family!

What would be the difference or advantage, if any, between this and yahoo messenger? I use both, and I thought they are identical in what they can do. but if there is something I don't know, I want to learn to use it :)

As far as home use, there are several advantages over Social IM Tools that make using PinkNotes® preferable.

Firstly, when you use PinkNotes® at home, you know the only people using it are the people you grant access. In my house, my entire immediate family is connected to PinkNotes® as well as several extended family members. In addition to this, we also have some family friends that are able to access our PinkNotes® server. This makes planning for holidays a breeze since we can all communicate in one place.

I know you are familiar with using PinkNotes® as reminders. This can be equally as valuable at home as it is at work. Being a home user myself, I constantly send myself reminders to pay bills, buy birthday presents, or to return a call I know I'm likely to forget. But reminders can also be sent to other family members (or house mates, depending on your living situation). "Send Later" messages can be sent reminding someone to take out the garbage, or to pick up cat food. The applications are virtually unlimited.

In addition, current versions of PinkNotes® are 128-Bit SSL encrypted. This means that you can send documents, bank account information, or photos of your nephew to a loved one without the fear of them falling into the 'wrong' hands.
